Delta State Governor And Coronavirus: Relgious Leaders Reach An Agreement Not To Gather More Than 50 Persons In services

Delta State Governor, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, did not ban church activities across the state instead he reach an agreement with the religious leaders not to gather more than 50 persons in services.

According to The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, the need to urgently reduce public gathering and promote social distancing arise due to the spread of the pandemic, however, the only way to curb the further spread of the disease is to restrict the numbers of people in social gathering.

The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, disclosed this in Asaba while briefing journalists on the outcome of meetings between the State Task Force on COVID-19 and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Muslim groups in the state.
