Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua professionally known as Seyi Shay is a Nigerian, She was given birth to in Tottenhan, London on 21 December 1985, Shay has two elder brothers and an elder sister. She and her siblings were raised by their single mother. Seyi Shay spent her early childhood days in London not untill she was two before she started coming to Nigeria for a visit. Seyi Shay father is of Yoruba origin and her mother is from the northern part of Nigeria.
