Memphis Depay was born to a Ghanaian father Dennis Depay and a Dutch mother Cora Schensema in Moordretch, Netherlands on February 13th, 1994. At age 6, young Depay was already showing the quality of a great footballer and to support his interest in Football, his parents had him register in a youth academy called vv Moordrecht, where he began developing his football skills.
Memphis Depay’s senior career began with PSV Eindhoven where he became instrumental to the Dutch side, bagging an impressive 59 goals in 124 appearances. His outstanding performances at the club helped them to claim their first Eredivisie title since in six years.
