DJ Switch is a Nigerian both by birth and by origin, She grew up in Warri Delta State, South-Southern part of Nigeria, Where she completed her primary and secondary school education. DJ Switch is the last of eight children and she’s a native Udi in Enugu State, South eastern part of Nigeria.

DJ Switch started her music career after she graduated from the university, DJ Switch first rose to prominence after her group, Da Pulse, emerged as the winner of the 2009 edition of reality music competition, Star Quest. Her career fully kicked off after she emerged the winner of the maiden and only edition of the Glo X-Factor in 2013.
