Born to José Roberto Cordeiro and Mariana Cícera Barbosa de Oliveira on 2nd October 1991, Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira is a native of Marcelo, Brazil. Firmino had a rough childhood while growing up. The environment he grew up in was a crime infested environment, though his parents who were low income earners did everything they could to protect young Firmino and his siblings from gangsters and bad influences from peers.
Roberto Firmino had a growing passion for football, and it was his desire to be a great Footballer who believed he could use football to rescue his parents from poverty. In 2004, Firmino had begun playing for youth team named CRB.
