RAPPER LIL DURK GIVES UPDATE ON METRO BOOMIN ALBUM WHILE TEASING SECOND LIL BABY PROJECT

Lil Durk has seen his star power grow to new heights since COVID-19 brought the entertainment industry to a temporary halt. After posting the most Billboard Hot 100 entries of any artist in 2021, Durkio isn’t stopping anytime soon.

Smurk sat down with Ebro Darden in Los Angeles for an interview earlier this week ahead of his Apple Music Live performance, where he teased his next project with Metro Boomin.

“As far as the next album, you must’ve heard something? Nah, it’s really the Metro [Boomin],” he said at the end of the interview. “Guaranteed.”

“We were vibing so crazy in the studio, we had to,” he continued around the six-minute mark. “We were just in that zone. He who he is, he turned up and actually can rap. He ended up rapping his ass off, I’m changing my energy. Matter of fact, we both made each other start writing. I would do another one. Sure.”

Lil Dirk returned last week to deliver the loaded deluxe version of his 7220 album, which boasts 13 new songs with features from Moneybagg Yo, EST Gee, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Ella Mai.
