Helena Zengel Biography
On the 10th of June 2008, she was born in Berlin, Germany to her wonderful parents. Helena began her study in Berlin before pursuing a career in the film industry.
Zengel started her acting Profession in a music video for the Berlin alternative rock band Abby when she was 5 years old. At the age of eight, she got a movie role in a film, Die Tochter which was produced and written by Mascha Schilinski in 2017. The movie was screened at the Berlinale that same year.
Following her excellent acting performance in “Die Tochter, Helena landed another role in a German Tv Series ” Die Spezialisten – Im Namen der Opfer.
The actress portrays the lead character of “Benni,” a damaged nine-year-old, in Nora Fingscheidt’s drama film System Crasher, which premiered at the Berlinale in February 2019. Helena received an award for the best actress in April 2020 by The German Film Prize.
Zengel was cast by Universal Pictures to lead a starring role in the American Western picture News of the World, directed by British film director Paul Greengrass, after System Crasher won a number of international prizes.
