Romelu Menama Lukaku Bolingoli was born on the 13th of March, 1993,in Antwerp, Belgium. His father was a former footballer by name Roger Lukaku while his mother’s name is Adolphine Lukaku. Romelu Lukaku began playing for Rupel Boom youth academy, at age six. He later moved to Anderlecht, where his professional career began.
Lukaku made his senior appearance for the Belgian club in 2009,and finished the season in grand style, as the top scorer, winning Ebony shoe award for the league championship most valuable player. He was later sold to West Bromwich Albion before moving to Everton where he stepped into limelight.
Lukaku was outstanding at Everton, scoring an impressive 53 goals in 110 appearances for the club before his shock move to Manchester United, where he helped them reach the quarter finals of the 2018 Champions League before he was sold to Inter Milan at a fee of £75 million in 2019.
